Greetings from the Czech Republic

Apparently, the summer has already finished here. The temperature outside is continually going down. I have been back to school since August 27, still enjoying our peaceful and quiet empty school building, because all of our students are actually coming on September 3. I will be travelling a lot during the next couple of weeks ( 2-week project in Norway www.skagerak.org + another project conference in Latvia ). Feel quite busy recently. Anyway, I am happy about being in touch with all of you !

Autumn has come to Sweden and we have 10 degrees outside...freezing cold! I hope that you are all fine and that we can keep using this blog. Above is a picture from a beautiful lake that we visited this summer. I have some students that are interested in e-mailing with students from around Europe. Our family visited our Spanish friends in Murcia. It was a surprise for all of us being there in their home town after such a short time after Maidstone. We very much enjoyed Murcia, especially the town centre and its beautiful and impressive cathedral. Our three hosts (Agustina, Lazaro and Fernando) were very kind and helpful. A very special thank you to all of you.

Portuguese among Spaniards

Now that the father of this blog (= Joao) has formally invited us to participate, we can all post our comments here.
My first contribution is this photo taken in Murcia on August 21st. Only four days after our farewell in Maidstone, Fernando, Lázaro and I enjoyed the visit of Joao and his family in our town. Who's going to be the next?

Opening

The teachers who were attending a language course in August 2007, in Maidstone, created this blog to communicate with each other and post photos to remember the days they spent together during two marvelous weeks.
We were a group of 26 teachers (20 women and 6 men) coming from 10 different countries in Europe.
