The BBC Learning English site is a good resource for materials about English Language Teaching. http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/newsenglish/witn/2007/09/070905_second_life.shtml
This lesson is about Second Life, a virtual world that is presently one of the biggest phenomena on the Internet.
In this article you have audio, text and comprehension exercises. There is also a very interesting lesson plan that can be very useful for teachers. Don't miss it! Maybe you can make good use of it with your students.

Very useful webpage. Thank you Joao, we appreciate your job so much.
You're welcome, Lorena. I am happy that you liked it. I hope it can be useful for other colleagues, too.
Oh, yes, it's true that the BBC has useful materials for us. Apart from that interesting site Joao has shown us, have a look at http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools
There are different activities to do with students on different areas (history is quite interesting, for example). They are aimed at English children, but can also be used with foreign learners of English. And depending on the level of our students, we can click on ages 4-11 or 11-16.
